How the sculptures are made in my woodshop![]() Making these sculptures has been a very rewarding experience for me and I am sure it will be for you, too. This page contains a brief description of the process I go through to make the sculptures in my woodshop at home. In the videos I go into much, much greater detail. The videos will guide you through the process so that you will make fewer mistakes than I did. The materials and tools I use in this process are really quite simple: a unique imported wood, bandsaw, wood glue, nails, 4.5" and a 7" grinder, a drum sander, lacquer, and a sprayer. The grinders and drum sander have been the best time-saving devices in my shop. Here is a rundown of the steps I go through:
